Update

I haven't touched this site in a while. A lot has happened since then. Mostly, I went through what felt like a losing streak. I felt a lot of pressure during the WRMCL and ended up playing much worse for a while after the quarterfinals. I didn't really play much worse during the WRMCL itself, but I managed to lose my double promotion in ARML by feeding a yakuman. It was a rough.

I also had a bad start in the new ARML season. Even more embarassingly, those games were with my Riichi Nomi mentor, so I got the added bonus of being scolded mid-game.

On the plus side, I qualified for this year's Whale Cup. I lost pretty badly during the first setplay games unfortunately.

The Riichi Nomi Open is a week away at this point. I'm going to keep my expectations low and do my best.
